According to Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence, Niantic’s Pokemon Go had just beaten the top social media sites in terms of app use.
Pokemon Go has just passed the 15 Million mark on installs, on both iOS and Android, and now it seems the app’s popularity is still about to soar more.
Using Sensor Tower’s proprietary usage data, they tracked how much time users are spending on Pokemon compared on the top apps. That top apps include Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter and Slither.io.
If you take a look a Sensor Tower’s data below, you’ll see that on July 11, 2016, the average iPhone users spent 33 minutes in Pokémon GO that any of the top social media apps:
