Guys, consider this as a warning to avoid the permanent ban.
Niantic, the game developer behind who gave us Pokemon Go, has just started banning players who violate their Terms of Service (TOS). The TOS covers different parts, but the bottom line of the ban is aimed at the cheaters who uses GPS spoofing, bots, and other apps that allows Pokemon Go players additional advantage that Niantic did not authorize.
GPS spoofing, for instance, allows players to cheat the game by appearing to be located in Japan, while he might be located in the Philippines.
Niantic has posted the following on it’s website regarding the permanent ban:
This includes, but is not limited to: falsifying your location, using emulators, modified or unofficial software and/or accessing Pokémon Go clients or backends in an unauthorized manner including through the use of third party software.
Our goal is to provide a fair, fun and legitimate game experience for everyone. We will continue to work with all of you to improve the quality of the gameplay, including ongoing optimization and fine tuning of our anti-cheat system.
So there you go, guys. Just play the game without the cheating!
